Pipelines v1.9 |
I have a commercial background in IT
(back then – it was called data processing) – initially as an IBM mainframe
computer operator with Amadeus Global Travel Distribution, GmbH, Deutschland;
where I worked through MVS, VM and TPF operations, before taking up the role as
a TPF Systems Programmer, with roles supporting, FACE, RIAT, Recoup and
developing VM support tools for application programmers. I then joined IBM
Netherlands as a consultant VM Systems Support Programmer; where I worked on a
number of global systems applications, including; ERIF, PROPLINK and HACS
(Hierarchical Access Control System) – implementing mini-disk access audit
trail for IBM’s VM ESM (External Security Manager) servicing EMEA and the US.
I later turned my attention to the
Microsoft Windows platform – developing an application called Pipelines; a
WIN32 C++ multi-threaded/multi-pipeline utility that is based on an IBM
mainframe utility called CMS Pipelines. The utility ships with a stage/filter
command API and a stage command WIN32 DLL wizard, which makes the
implementation extensible by anyone with a basic C++ programming ability. I
continue to develop the application and I am always looking for ideas and
suggestions on how the package can be improved.
If you have any questions about the
application or you would like to contribute to the project; please contact: TenFiftyTwo.
